The children in Activity Avenue have been very observant of the sudden change of weather and the changes to the outdoor environment that come with this. Their interest has led to an investigation of the seasons, with the children identifying a range of things we do in each season. The children have also engaged in art about the seasons, using a range of materials, including fallen leaves that they’ve found in the playground for both collage and painting.
