News Flash Gosford

Jenny's Kindergarten Gosford

This week the Koala’s have been busy focusing on their sensory project. Together we made lemon 🍋 smelling/tasting play dough and have been exploring it in many ways including placing it in the home corner and using it for dramatic play. We have also used it with baking trays, rollers, spoons and shape cutters.

Pre K have been reading the book Tortoise and the Hair. We have then explored different scenarios of the book. We have wondered what would have happened if the Tortoise found his hair, what the dog would do now that he had the hair, what might have happened if the bus crashed. This activity is to develop the children's imagination and cognitive skills as well as their critical thinking skills.
