Jenny’s Kindergarten & Early Learning
Jenny’s Kindergarten Hurstville is located in a quiet street off Croydon Road and is not too far from the train station. A custom built centre that has large rooms and a separate outdoor area for the younger children that has views of the street so the children can watch the world go by. Fresh healthy meals are supplied daily for the children by our cook who works on the premises. Children’s learning is fostered by following the early years learning framework and creating experiences that are based on the children’s interests and strengths. An extensive school readiness program is implemented for children preparing for school. At Jenny’s Kindergarten families are encouraged to have input into the centre and the children’s learning. Jenny’s Kindergarten provides a healthy, safe and loving environment where children can develop and grow for a positive future.
Hello, my name is Esther Ramm and I am the Centre Director at Jenny’s Kindergarten and Early Learning Hurstville. I am honoured to be a part of the Jenny’s Kindergarten & Early Learning team and greatly look forward to serving the Hurstville community. I grew up in the beautiful Southern Highlands roughly 1.5 hours from Sydney.
My experiences in Early Childhood have varied significantly since entering the industry, thus giving me a thorough understanding of modern early childhood practices. Gaining the Diploma in Children’s Services qualification in 2007, I soon followed this by completing a Bachelor of Teaching (Birth to five years) in 2009 through Charles Sturt University. Initially I worked in a preschool setting devising and implementing a transition to school program. I then moved overseas for two years to Vanuatu and used my skills in early childhood to assist families in rural and remote village locations. During my time in Vanuatu I primarily focused on individual early intervention programs. When I returned to the Southern Highlands I took on a baby & toddler room leader position and absolutely loved my days with the tiny little ones.
In 2013, I moved to Sydney to further my career and began Directing a Long Day Care Centre. I believe in building strong trusting family and community relationships, these form the foundation for children’s well-being and learning. I enjoy participating in and organising incursions for the children and family events at the Centre, training and mentoring staff, students and volunteers. I love my career and count it my highest privilege to care for your children.
I look forward to meeting you and your family when you visit Jenny’s Kindergarten & Early Learning Hurstville and experience a modern, engaging, educational and high quality service. I truly hope that you will find our Centre to be your home away from home. Our team are passionate, kind and caring educators that wholeheartedly create a learning environment for children to grow to their full potential.
